DUE TO THE OVERWHELMING DEMAND, WE ARE ONLY POSTING TWICE PER WEEK, IT IS TAKING US A LITTLE LONGER THAN USUAL TO GET ALL OF THE PARCELS PACKED AND READY TO GO.

If you have trouble seeing the pics on the website, download Chrome (browser) to your device and you will be able to see all of the pics. Some Iphones/Ipads are experiencing issues using Safari with no pics appearing on the website.

Please note: That waiting times won’t change by using Afterpay. Hand Dyed Fabrics processing times (up to 4-6 weeks at the moment due to fabric shortages) will still apply

There is also an extra point system that will allow you to get permanent discounts on your orders once you achieve these levels

My love of cross stitching has brought me to Hand Dyed Fabrics. The shop is fully stocked with everything you can think of to purchase for your cross stitch addiction. If there is anything that I have not got stocked in the shop please ask as I can always see if I can get it!

Please see the Weekly Fabric Update Page located in the top menu above for information of fabrics that are in stock or out of stock, and to see if there is a long wait on any particular fabrics. Dyeing times vary due to how busy we have become. On average though most orders are processed within 4-6 weeks at the moment due to fabric shortages, but this is totally dependent on fabric stocks as to how long the wait is.

Please remember that these are Hand Dyed Fabrics, no piece will dye exactly the same as the next, although I will keep the colours as accurate as possible, and dye each order using the same method as I have used in the examples shown. As well as taking time to make them for you as they are not pre-dyed and ready to go. (Unless they are in the Dyed and Ready to Send section of the website)

Here are some more examples of how different 1 colour can look from fabric to fabric

Each and every type of fabric takes the dye a little differently than the others (an example is shown above) I always cut the fabric up to 1 inch larger than requested to avoid shrinkage in the dyeing process, to keep your fabric as close to the size you paid for; although even doing this can still make the fabric a few cm’s shorter, this is unavoidable and to be expected. The washing process can also shrink fabrics, depending on the heat in the water that is needed to dye and wash the fabrics thoroughly. Please Read the FAQs and Refund and Returns Policy for more information.

While some of the colours can look very different on different fabrics, others can look the same on all fabrics, here are a couple of examples

If you would like to know how a colour looks on a certain type of fabric, please ask **Please also note that No Hand Dyed Fabric is guaranteed to be Colourfast! Although we use the correct fixers during the dye process, it is not unusual for some darker colours (such as reds and purples) to still run a little colour when wet, This could change the colour of the threads that you have stitched. Please use grime guards on your QSnaps or Frames to avoid having to wash the fabric**

**Colour Cascade Fabrics only stocks quality fabric from quality suppliers such as Zweigart, Permin and DMC. All Opalescent fabrics are made by the manufacturer. The glitter effect is woven into the fabric during the manufacturing process,**
